The B-Rollers - Manchester Documentary Wedding Photographer

A selection of Real Documentary wedding pictures

B-roll pictures, to me they’re the glue that holds your wedding story together.

While most (98.76%) of wedding photographers only show the very bestest ever pictures they’ve taken to create this kind of impression that your entire wedding gallery will be entirely made up of perfectly timed, edited to death pictures of you and yours, I prefer to show the more realistic side, in fact given the ‘b-roll’ pictures will probably make up 90% of your actual wedding gallery, I jolly well feel that arguably more effort should go into them than your other wedding pictures…but I’m also a realist so I give everything the same amount of thought and attention so it’s all nice and fair across your entire wedding story.

While all this sounds confusing, you’ll thank me if you take the time to understand what I’m saying and book someone like me who thinks the little things are what will really matter to you, after all they’re about the people you asked to share your day - the very people who are nearest and dearest to you, so they bloody well deserve all my care and attention.

Honestly, it’s a much better way of thinking about your wedding pictures, certainly better than getting your wedding gallery, eagerly scrolling through and thinking ‘What the fuck is this shit, 23 pictures of knives & forks, 17 of my dress in a tree, 11 of our rings on tree branches or next to mushrooms, then 287 of people looking quite bored and 18 pictures of the vicar. Well that’s disappointing”

So - while I do take rather nice pictures of you getting married and doing all that weddingy type stuff, I also (and more importantly) give you pictures of your day, the people there, the things thy did, the fun they had and all the other interesting stuff that happens (and all without asking you to pretend to do things, or making you pose like a pair of berks).

The people who book me appreciate it, the people who don’t wish they’d done their research a bit better.
