A wedding in a ballroom in Essex

Lou & Richard got married, they asked my to photograph their wedding.  It was fucking great ! 

Pwoooper cockneys the whole lot of them, couldn't understand half the stuff they said to be fair there's some sort of big language divide between the North and South, they can't speak properly...Lou thought my name was Dave, no idea how (we'd been speaking for nearly a year), nice one Lou !  

Anyway I’m over it now. Childhood sweethearts these two and it really showed.  I love shit like that, people who've known each other for years and years who get married.  It's fantastic.  The whole day was brilliant from start to finish, massively enjoyable, a super crowd to be around.  

Arlington Ballroom was their venue in Southend-On-Sea.  The building dates back to the roaring 1920s ‘Art Deco’ and ‘Jazz’ era. It was originally built as a music hall, where local residents could dance and listen to live music.  I liked it, it had a nice vibe.
