Relaxed Documentary wedding photographer based in Cheshire

I know, I know...I bang on about it an awful lot but I really canā€™t overemphasise the importance of approach, a relaxed approach to wedding pictures (coupled with not acting like a wedding photographer).

With the whole ā€˜Documentaryā€™ thing being so trendy there comes the increasing numbers of people who just donā€™t get it, itā€™s often just a word to be used rather than a way of working and photographing a wedding.

The simplest way to identify true Documentary is to ask yourself ā€˜do these people look really relaxed?ā€™ ā€˜Are they doing something that isnā€™t just eating crisps?ā€™, ā€˜do you get a sense of being some kind of weird observer in the behaviour of people?ā€™ If you do then youā€™re on the right track.

People being people without actually being subjects in a photo shoot, a sense of involvement in the pictures.  Thatā€™s the tip of the iceberg with Documentary Photography.

Mostly though, itā€™s about how great your wedding was and the things youā€™ll remember

I photograph the best bits of weddings - the people.  Iā€™m a relaxed UK Documentary Wedding Photographer based in Cheshire, covering the UK and Europe.  Come say hello.
