Liverpool Town Hall Wedding Photography | Liverpool Wedding.

Claire & Shaun had a fun filled wedding at Liverpool Town Hall. It was an amazing day, full of good cheer, love, loud scousers and a lot of fun.

The great thing about Claire & Shaun’s day was just how fun it was. I’ve always loved Liverpool Town Hall as a Wedding Venue, it just creates this brilliant atmosphere, I can’t explain it but it just does! Some town halls are a bit meh when it comes to getting married, Liverpool is one of the warmest I’ve shot in and I always look forward to a trip there.

A relaxed approach to wedding photography in Liverpool.

Claire & Shaun booked me to photograph their wedding in Liverpool because they didn’t want to “Spend ages messing about getting pictures taken”.

It was especially made clear that there was to be none of that ‘posing where people don’t look at each other and nothing shit’

They weren’t keen on the idea of having their picture taken and that’s why I was chosen as their perfect Liverpool wedding photographer. My relaxed style and subtle approach leaves couples to enjoy their wedding without feeling like they are on a day-long wedding photo shoot!

You just do your thing, they were my instructions. No lists of pictures, everything was to be spontaneous, if they wanted any group pictures they would grab me in the moment.

My type of wedding, being able to observe people who aren’t being ushered around to keep to a schedule, it’s great. Claire and Shaun had such a relaxed wedding day, they weren’t a slave to me, the whole thing was super chilled, full of laughs and a great deal of fun to be part of.

I want couples to make the most of their wedding day, and a photographer who blends in as part of a wedding rather than herding people from one place to the next allows them to do that, along with dressing like a guest and not carrying a host of photo equipment - people don’t notice I’m there and often mistake me for another guest or friend of the couple.

I also feel it’s super important to tell a full story of a wedding, not just from an hour before leaving to get married to the first dance. A full story (for me) is the complete story of a wedding day from beginning to late in the evening. The nerves and excitement of getting ready on a wedding morning right through to the crazy evening partying (and everything in-between).

I hope you enjoyed looking at this wedding story.

Thanks for reading.
