Villa Pizzo Wedding Photographer, Lake Como.

VILLA PIZZO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER | LAKE COMO WEDDING, ITALY

When Miriam messaged me on Instagram to say she was marrying Ben (exciting much!!) and asked if I could photograph her wedding I immediately said YES, now I’m not usually so hasty with my YES’s but I’ve known these guys for quite a while now, having photographed the wedding of her sister in Lake Como (and numerous other family events since). It’s safe to say I’m the official family photographer which makes me very happy indeed!

So fast-forward to mid July and here I was, back in Lake Como for the 10th time to shoot the Villa Pizzo Wedding of Miriam and Ben, woohoo!!

It was so nice to meet up with so many familiar faces again, family and friends I’d kept in touch with over the years and I knew two things for certain a. this was going to be a lovely wedding, and b. this lot knew how to party big time!

Anyway, I digress.

Villa Pizzo is one of the most famous villas on Lake Como, located between the villages of Cernobbio and Moltrasio. It’s a perfect location for a romantic and elegant wedding, with a beautiful Italian garden and glorious views over the lake.

I spent a week with Miriam, Ben, their families & friends and documented their celebrations in my usual candid style.

You can see Miriam & Ben’s Villa Pizzo slideshow below.

It’s a much better experience to watch it on a laptop or tablet with the sound turned up and in full screen mode.

A SUPER CHILLED LUXURY WEDDING ON THE SHORE OF LAKE COMO.

The Wedding Day started with bridal prep for Miriam and her gang at Hotel Villa Flori in Cernobbio with incredible views over lake como and a whole lot of fun, practice wedding walking and champagne. A short interlude of Ben and his groomsmen at their apartment in Cernobbio courtesy of my wonderful tag-along Sarah followed, and before we knew it Miriam was on her way to get married!

A short speedboat trip later we all arrived rather excited to get married (Miriam, not me). From there the day was really as perfect as you would expect, the people (obviously), the fact they really didn’t like posed pictures so didn’t want any (perfect for me), the location (I mean come onnnn!!), the weather..even though I’d been getting daily “It’s going to rain” updates from Miriam for a month the sun was out and it was glorious (I’m a bit of a lucky charm like that), yep everything was ahhhmazing!

As usual, I was there throughout the day, night, and for the after wedding party the next day and night (I might write about that in a separate post…it was a crazzzyyyyy party!) and I captured ALL of the fun in my usual discreet style (along with the usual romance, love, happiness of course).

Here are a few photos from their wonderful wedding day, and it is a few, about 2% actually if we’re being mathematicians (and they’re all bangers too, no fillers in my galleries people!).

*Tip - if you click on the first image you get to see them in all their hi-resolution glory (they look bigger and better)

So there we go, I hope you enjoyed the slideshow and small selection of images from Miriam & Ben’s lovely Lake Como Wedding. If you would love this Manchester based wedding photographer at your wedding, please get in touch.
