What do you do after you’ve got married? Have a party that’s what!!
I’ve already written about Miriam & Ben’s rather lovely wedding at Villa Pizzo on Lake Como…..say what, you’ve not seen it? …get yourselves over here and have a look!
So, we’d all just about recovered from the evening of a rather grand wedding at Villa Pizzo and what could be a better way of relaxing than soaking up some rays, chilling by the pool and recuperating at one of the best lidos on Lake Como, Lido di Cernobbio ?
What a jolly good idea it was, what a mental party it was, what a wonderful bunch of people I got to hang out with, lucky I was there to photograph it in my usual candid documentary style (obvs)

AN EXCLUSIVE WEDDING AFTER-PARTY ON THE SHORE OF LAKE COMO.
Miriam & Ben booked exclusive all day access for the wedding party to unwind after their wedding at Villa Pizzo, naturally I went along, I mean why wouldn’t I ! Under the guise of putting together a next day slideshow of their wedding I thought there’s no better place to do some work and chill with my new-found friends. I did the slideshow as a surprise for the evening, made Miriam cry too (sorry not sorry).
The day started off with people arriving, topping up their tans, reminiscing about how great the wedding was and some nursing some sore heads…until the games started, which involved drinking and swimming races and various other things, things just seemed to pick up pace after that and before I knew it I was in the middle of complete party chaos and I loved every second of it! We partied, we danced, and we brought the wedding to an end like it was 1999.
Here are some photos from their party, only a small selection to give you an idea of how the party was, as usual (and as with all my wedding photography) this shindig was photographed just with my trusty old Fujifilm X-pro2 and 18mm lens combination.
